I was just wondering if someone could help me with an soundtrack I am making. Pretty much I extracted the music from the video game "Heavy Gear" into MP3s on my computer, but would like to make an CDR of it.
If anyone could download these files and make an disc for me, I would appreciate it. Please let me know what you would need in exchange for your services.
Thanks very much

I assume your talking about Heavy Gear (not Heavy Gear 2) for the PC.All the music of "Heavy Gear" is in Redbook Audio format. All the music is in CD-audio format right on the game CD.
That means, put the game CD into any CD audio player, skip track 1 (because track 1 is the game-data track), and the rest of the tracks should contain the songs of Heavy Gear.
Also, in case your wondering, the composer of the music from Heavy Gear also composed similar music for the games, Mechwarrior 2, Mechwarrior 2 Mercinaries, and Mechwarrior2: Ghost Bear's Legacy. They're great, moody songs, considering they're from an old computer game series.I can't help you with CD burning though. One of your friends is bound to have a CDR. If not, just buy one. They're very cheap nowadays (150 dollars, as opposed to $2000 five years ago).
And one last note, try not to MP3-compress things that you are going to burn on CD. MP3 compression reduces sharp noises (if any, so it's bad for dance-techno music), but it's especially horrid with orchestra since MP3 compression takes away the richness of the orchestra. Compress a track from the Gattaca soundtrack, for example. You wont believe how hollow the MP3 compressed sound is.
Maaaan, that was a long post. I'm done talking

Thanks for replying. I was offered help to make the disc. Thanks JJH.
And yes I am talking about the first Heavy Gear.BTW, I knew it could play off the CD, though I wanted to have it seperate from the game, since I would probably be using it quite a lot.
Any ways, I apprciate your comments, Thanks.

Jeehun Hwang is the composer. I don't think he does stuff for Activision anymore...
