Alright guys (and gals)-I really have enjoyed both of John Frizzell's scores to Dante's Peak and Alien Resurrection. They are dark and very sinister... but how does his latest, Teaching Mrs. Tingle compare? Is it a Varese cd worth getting?
Also, is his score for Beavis and Butthead Do America available? How is it? I never convinced myself to watch the movie, so I haven't heard it in or out of the context of the film.
Your thoughts are appreciated!

Hey Jeron, I got this score just for the heck of it and because of the cute picture of Katie Holmes on the cover. LOL But after I listened to it after I got it a couple, it's turned out to be one of my favorite scores by John Frizzell. Very quirky and enjoyably accessable. A few mock moments of shock with a few light touches of jazz thrown in. It's an album worth getting.P.O.

I haven't heard TEACHING, but BEAVIS & BUTT-HEAD is a very fun score. Not thematic, but there are lots of musical jokes and in-jokes to make you laugh. Not only that, but it has one of the most hilarious covers ever on a soundtrack. It was release commercially (I think on Geffen) but I'm not sure if it's still in print.

Beavis and Butt-Head is really good Jeron, I was surprised. Frizzell composed some great bombastic music for an animated movie.Audacity

Get Beavis and Butthead Do America. You'd be surprised just how great the cues "Mr. President, we're never gonna score" and "Walk into the Sunset" are. Many of the cues may be short, but it is still an enjoyable listen.Do I even need to say how funny the track "Beavis the Sperm" is?
