Now I work at a movie theater and have listened to some of the outsatnding music in the new sci-fi movie Picth Black, it sounds great with a errie sound to the rapid beating of the drums in the end credits. Does anyone know if they will release a score for this movie. Or will they not do anything like many of Revell's scores?

Agreed, pretty good music for a descent movie. There wasn't much music, though, and for that it was pretty good. As in, it didn't need much.

That movie was so gawd awful! I can't believe I even paid 8.75 for the thing. The music...well typical of Revell. All his scores are for mediocre, of not horrible movies. The Craft, The Crow I & II, Tank Girl...remember these sleepers? The scores outdid the movies in all these cases. In the case of this movie the score was just as bad.

Compared to other sci-fi movies that deal with similar material, I think this film was excellent. It could've turned out horribly, but David Twohy did a great job with the writing and directing. Revell's music was mostly atmospheric, but now and then a great percussive driven main theme would jump in and make things lively. Despite so much mood music, I would buy a score CD of Pitch Black just for the excellent main theme.

    A wonderful surprise.
