I am thinking of getting this, so I'd appreciate if anyone who has heard it could tell me their opinions of it.

    Thanks very much.

    Regards,
    Sean Robert Abbey

One of Revell's best scores. It's an adventure score. When I first heard the music I thought 'Is this Street Fighter?'.

52 minutes, 21 tracks. Big orchestra. Some synths. Overall a score to have. A couple of tracks are awesome.

np: Street Fighter ****/***** (thanks for the tip)

Well I have it on order, I can't wait to hear it. BTW, anyone hear his score to Power Rangers?

Anyway, thanks for telling me your opinions.

Power Rangers is even better than Street Fighter. Again, big orchestral fantasy score. This might be Revell's best score to date.

I am going to try to get Power Rangers as well, but I can't find it anywhere. It must be OOP.

Can someone here send me an mp3 from Power Rangers? I'd appreciate it.

Picked this up used yesterday because of this discussion. It's pretty good, although not as good as his The Saint.

Well I had just got an email from Amazon.com saying Street Fighter will take 4-6 weeks to ship, so I just canceled it.

However I went and ordered both the Street Fighter and Power Rangers CDs from Varese themselves. A lot easier if you ask me, plus the prices are cheaper.

BTW, Varese told me they still have plenty of copies of those scores, so if you want them, I suggest doing so now, while there is some left.

I've been listening to this soundtrack today, and am quite entertained by it. Sounds like the London Symphony Orchestra had a fun time recording this....

The funniest moment in this score for me is when the big Hawaiian sumo wrestler is being tortured and you hear hula music. Someone has a great sense of humor...

Good album, this one....it does sound like the LSO was having fun here, although there is a bit in the cue mentioned by Mike that always bugs me....a sample of ch-ch-ha-ch-chi voices that is used by Tangerine Dream on one of their albums! Sorry, I heard that one first, so you know how that goes

Agreed, and in that same track ("Honda is Tortured") you hear this tuba player going to town. What a riot! Overall, this is truly one of Revell's best scores. The choral moments ("Bison Troopers Marching Song" and the beginning of "General M. Bison") are wonderfully over the top.
