Nicolai, good choice. Have you ever heard McCree's score to the Sega CD game SoulStar?

I'm not that upset about John Powell.

    Timmer,

you can have her, now that's she's been married to Billy Bob Thornton...

I must say, given the techno aspect of the trailer, that I am not at all surprised with John Powell.

If you ever bash Zimmer again on this board I will make you feel so emotionaly withdrawn that Peter K will have to ban me for it...And that goes for all of you out there! Zimmer has such a wide range of musical talent that its astounding...

    Zimmer sucks.
Want proof? Just listen to his "music", if such it can be called.

(Sorry, I just could not resist, whether you were serious or not.
I do like a lot of his stuff and he was one of the three composers whose music helped me discover the film score world.)

Otherwise, Powell or not, my picks:
    - Robert Folk
    - William Ross
    - Christopher L. Stone
    - Joel Goldsmith
    - Steven Scott Smalley
    - Arthur Kempel
    - Brad Fiedel with Shirley Walker to orchestrate
    - Steve Bramson or
    - a complete nobody who has never scored a movie in his life.

Nope, I have not. Actually, McCree's work for the Tomb Raider games are the only scores of his I know. But hey, he wrote a great theme and score for a PC/Playstation game that does have movie qualities, so why not give him with Tomb Raider the chance to score a feature film?

This movie is obviously gonna be a balls out action adventure flick. We need to here an adventure score like Waterworld for this movie. James Newton Howard has my vote. David Arnold is another great consideration. Craig Armstrong would kick @$$ as well.
