Wow, this seems like a massive message board.
This is actually my first post here after arriving from the disaster board over at FSM.

My question is: Will Hans Zimmer really get the assignment of scoring Bruckheimer's Gone In 60 Seconds? I've heard several rumours about this but I never managed to confirm the information. The IMDB hasn't updated their GISS page since May 11 last year, so it seems like things have stopped a bit. The trailer has been out for a long time, but Bruckheimer is probably busy with his five - 5 - other movies...

Unlikely if you consider he's currently scoring Mission Impossible 2, Gladiator AND Road to El Dorado for release before the summer.

My big question about this film is whether or not they're going to repeat the same car chase from the original with the same length, or shorten it. The original chase sequence was something like 40minutes long I believe.

I have heard that Hans Zimmer will indeed be scoring Gone In 60 Seconds. Which makes for a very busy year Mr.Zimmer.

If the trailer is any indication, this is going to be a killer Zimmer score.

The Internet Movie Database listing (spelled as GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS) tells us that Zimmer is the composer.

To me, either composer would be just awesome.
Rabin or Zimmer, I can't wait for this movie. As far as I've heard, is it still a June release?

Yeah, I believe it is still supposed to be released in June. I just wish more was known about the movie. The official site doesn't have much, just a Shockwave preview, and I haven't seen the trailer in the theaters. I am really looking forward to this one. Last summer was Bruckheimer-less , and so I am going into withdrawal.
