Yes dude, I reported this a while ago with the release date for Mission Impossible 2 score (which is April 25th).

Ugh, doth no one listen to Dan?! What do you mean "no"?

March 7th is the release date for 'Mission to Mars'. And the CD is coming from Hollywoood Records

    Actually a bit dissapointed.......

    Two facts:
Score to be recorded East USA (Union!!!)
Hollywood label, which means max. 40 minutes.

Great choir and orchestra. Kamen has been on the rise since "Iron Giant"

    Foobs

NP - "First knight" -expanded *****/***** way better than the commercial release.

Someone's lost me now. Michael Kamen? I thought M2M was Ennio Morricone?

Hmmm. 50 to 60? Hollywood Records' release of DEEP RISING was a whopping 32 minutes and didn't even include the whole score.

I'm with Bob; I thought Morricone was scoring M2M, too. Has he been replaced? I'm sure Kamen will do will if he's on it now, but I would have liked to hear Morricone's music.

    Hm, curioser and curioser...

Relax guys it's still Maestro Morricone still scoring M2M. Especially since he originally replaced Ryuichi Sakamoto who was originally attached to the film. The score is or was (which ever comes first) here in NY with an 80 piece orchestra and chorus. Very cool. Hollywood will no doubt release as much as they possibly can. And Hollywood Records has only put out a handful of scores that go beyond 40 mins. Crimson Tide (60 mins.), The autricious Mighty Joe Young (73 mins.), Enemy of the State (54 mins.), A Civil Action (47 min.) to name a few. Look for Mission Impossible 2 to be pushed back a bit, which is what will likely happen. Since Hollywood has been notorious for pushing back scores for as much a week to two weeks.
And hopefully we'll have ton of Zimmer's score on it. Also expect them to announce they'll be releasing Zimmer's other big summer score to Gone In 60 Seconds pretty soon.
