I can't remember if anyone, even our very own "info guy," reported these dates (he probably did) but oh well, at least this'll remind some of us to get excited:

    Mission Impossible 2
    April 25th
    Hollywood Records

    Mission to Mars
    March 7th
    Hollywood Records

    Thanks Dan.

Especially since "info guy" has been slipping lately.

Maybe the responsibility was too much for him?

Well, I can vouch for Kyp, our in-house "info-guy." He's been having a lot of homework and... and of course, his parents limit his time on the computer for that.

    If he's slipping, that's why. =)

To quote from Kyle of South Park:

    "Oh my God dude!!"

Didn't know that M:I-2 will be released in just about 3 months time! Is it been confirmed that it is a score release, or a score + songs album or (gasp!) inspired by album?

    MI:2 is a score release.

John Woo--all love for the man aside--has there ever been a Tom Cruise movie that *didn't* feature a song/song+score album?

    Ok, let's count 'em:

LEGEND...(well, Goldsmith's score was thrown out, but did get a cd release....)
FAR AND AWAY...(did feature Enya, though not detracting from the album.)

Other than that, I can't find a single Tom Cruise movie that *didn't* have a song/score album. I think MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE got lucky with an all-score follow up album. I hope for the same luck with MINORITY REPORT.

Lancelot.........uhm, whoa, that's rleally odd, you're so right! The Hollywood Records release of April 25th IS the Zimmer score however, but I can't think of a single Cruise movie that didn't get a soundtrack cd cash in release either!
