I just watched this movie again (great fun, despite strained plot near the end). I was able to re-acquaint myself with John Debney's awesome score, which really makes one angry at the lack of availability.

Anyway, as good as that score is, it's not the reason for this post. It's something I noticed in the end credits...:

    "SARAH'S THEME"
    Music by James Horner
    Lyrics by Brock Walsh

I can only assume this is the song Sarah Jessica Parker sings to draw all the children to the house. I would have thought Debney wrote it, but apparently not. Has anyone else ever noticed this or brought it up? Is this common knowledge (i.e. I'm a moron)?

    James

P.S. Another interesting credit I noticed...:
"I'VE PUT A SPELL ON YOU"
    Produced by Marc Shaiman

I get the promo from this score, just for Horner's song, but it does not include. So, I sold this "Witches of Eastwick" score. John Debney is really a waste of time.

Horner was originally going to score this film, but he left the project for some reason - time, probably. But he wrote this song, since it had to be used in the film as source music. It's also used in the very beginning of the film. Great theme, if you ask me. Would have been interesting to hear Horner's entire score, if he had written it. But I love Debney's music for this film, I might add!
