"we all go a little mad sometimes" Don't worry my friend, we all have outbursts of spending. Like me before xmas when I spent £500 on DVDs....Some fine purchases you've made there anyways. So how are those 2 TND releases eh?

Jeron,It's okay. What else would you spend the money on? Food? Clothes? Going out?
This way it's money well spent. None of those other things will make you as happy.
Of course, if you lied to us about buying the Barry Manilow thing for your grandmother....

Jeron,I don't think I want to talk to anyone who needs someone else to justify for them why they purchased certain scores. It is a sad, sad day fellow moviemusicers, one of our own has started questioning his love for film music. We must all join in and cast out the abomination that is Jeron, before he takes some of us with him to the "Dark Side". Jeron, I think the rest of us could chip in to get you a Backstreet Boys CD if that is the kind of music you are into now.
We will all say farewell to Jeron now,

Jeron, as Dan said "we all go a little crazy sometimes". I've gone out on my lunch hour in search a single cd, only to go to the store and start at the "A's" and end at the "Z's", and easily spend $150. We love this stuff, besides you have quite a few to listen to now so you can take it easy for a week or so.

I spent a hundred dollars on four japanese soundtracks, so I guess you can be happy that your CD's are at reasonable prices

I know where you're coming from,Jeron!
As I told you over ICQ, I've spent about a hundred dollars myself over the past few days. But I'm going to a casino this Sunday, so hopefully I can make some money back at the Blackjack table

Yep. I spent $60 the other night, and I sort of felt the same way you do. Plus I've got some stuff on order for about $80. So we're all kind of in the same boat. However, I'm out of college now, so I hope you can pay for your tuition and books this semester. And Audacity - I don't think it's a question of his love for film music as much as it is being fiscally responsible.
Buck up and enjoy your new purchases Jeron.

I must say I am appalled. Why didn't you get your grandmother Spiner's OLD YELLOW EYES IS BACK or James Darren's ONE FROM THE HEART?The rest are all good choices and we've all gone a little wacky at the soundtrack store now and then. I assume you know Russia House is based on the rejected score for Alien Nation?

I'm just surprised you of all people have gone all this time without the The Russia House.Don't worry about it. I had a similar experience at the Mall of America. Their Barnes&Noble had a great soundtrack section, I ended up spending $183. And I don't even have a job. So there.
Good to see you haven't lost your audacity, Audacity.

It feels so good to be so loved!Hehe, yeah... I'm getting over my post-purchase anxiety. I'm glad no one has said "why did you get such and such, that sucks!" I appreciate the kindness.
Anyways... Gotta run, I'm spending the day with a friend at SMU... oh boy.

Jeron,
been there, done that. All I can say, if you still got a roof over your head and enough to eat and drink, you'll be okay.Even if there is a soundtrack you don't like, you can always donate it to someone who does. That's what made me feel better when I bought Drop Zone from Zimmer and absolutely hated it.

Jeron,
Glad to see you bought The Cider House Rules. You were the one to bring our attention to Sony's sound clip of the main theme. I consider this CD to be absolutely stellar. Enjoy!

Well, I got all my cds in today... yes, including the Manilow/Sinatra cd. My grandmother was ecstatic to see it came so soon. =)I'm REALLY enjoying all of them, and whoever it was that suggested "The Alamo," thanks. Great music. You're right, it is better than "Giant," but "Giant" also has some good classic Tiomkin stuff.
The TND stuff is great! Definitely recommended.
Thanks again,

Jeron,
I think the emotional support you needed had nothing to do with your spending spree, after all, we all do this sometimes and I'm pretty sure you have done so in the past. I am afraid it has to do that you ACTUALLY like the Generations score.
