Thanks Peter. Would it be possible to list composers as well?

Haven't even heard of three of these movies. One is a compilation of classical music for a movie that's got to be 10 years old, and one of the releases is for a video game, for Pete's sake.

And still, we get no scores for Mystery Alaska or Galaxy Quest? I haven't seen Galaxy Quest, but from postings on this site, I understand it's a good score. I KNOW Mystery Alaska has a great score.

Two movies with good or great scores but no CD releases, what's wrong with these people?

I'm not saying that Mozart isn't good or that the TWINE video game music isn't good, I'm just talkiing about priorities here. (And I won't even get going about a SECOND Austin Powers II CD -- heeeuuuk!)

I feel that I should tell you all that there is a Galaxy Quest promo out there.

In case you all wanted to know

By Promo, I would assume that would mean I wouldn't be able to buy for under $20 at the local Barnes and Noble/Borders or from CD Now.

I would assume I'd have to "know someone," or "know where to look" and have deep enough pockets to buy it.

I'm really talking about general releases here, not promos, boots or hoping that the DVD release will have a separate soundtrack that I can record.

By the way, Peter, thanks for list. Sorry I flew off the handle like that. I appreciate you keeping us up to date.

CD NOw lists the American Beauty score as being released on the 25th, not today. Any updates out there? Anyone already buy it? If so, any reviews? Has it been delayed?

The Galaxy Quest Promo won't be ready until later this month. Super Collector is releasing it, and this information comes directly from an e-mail I received from them.

And yes, it's going to probably be 30 bucks or so. Oh well, who cares! The music is worth it. =)

The AMERICAN BEAUTY score did indeed come out today. Amazon shipped it, and our local Sam Goody had it too, so it's out there!
