Hey! I just had an idea (yeah I know, oh my gosh) What do you all LOOK LIKE?!I would put a picture of myself here, but I don't have a scanner (like I care) but I'll get one up. As for the rest, what DO YOU LOOK LIKE?

Good idea man. Well I will start off. I am black with an athletic build. Yeah, I played football so you can call me a jock if you want. I LOVE film scores. People sometimes are shocked when they actually see me. :-)Surprise!

Well, this is a good question as I think everyone is curious to whom they are talking to. I think it would be a neat idea if you could put your picture in the personal profile section. It would be just a click away of seeing the person you are talking to.Also, I thought Scott had a great idea when he suggested on having a Moviemusic Get-Together. Although this would probably not be possibe(being that some people are from Denmark and some people are from England) But, hey, it something we can talk about!

C/K,With this post of yours and Scott's about a get-together, it got me thinking... about a webpage.
I used to hang out in an astronomy chat room, and they have this website set up for the users. It's like the profiles area of this site, but it includes a photo, some background info, and their interests and areas of expertise.
Something like that would be cool, either added to Moviemusic.com, or as a separate website. I'd be more than willing to help set it up and work on it. What do you guys think?
Kevin
PS. C/K - Cut down on the sugar if you're that hyper.

PPS. Even though I suggested this site thingy, it doesn't mean I'd put my photograph on it. There's a good reason I became a photographer (standing behind the camera, you know).

Kevin,I agree with you fully! We need to have a little more info about us, and it would be nice to have a picture included. If the personal profiles were expanded that would be great!

I'll design the profiles website (separate of moviemusic.com) if you guys would like. I've spoken briefly with Peter about this, and I think something temporary should be in place so PK can see the concept... and then, when he does finish the entire site and has nothing else better to do (yeah, right), he can think about implementing it.Just a thought.
Anyways, I wanted to put in my name as for designing it. It's Christmas break and there's no better time.
Jeron
PS - I'm not very good at describing myself... Justin, could you help? =)

Well, I'm tall but thin and frail looking. I am somewhat seedy in appearance; I wear a thread-bare coat which does not match my baggy trousers, and I always have a garish red and yellow striped muffler hanging loosely around my scrawny neck, which has a prominent Adam's apple that bobs every time I take a breath. My trousled hair needs cutting, my face is thin and pinched, and my eyes are so light a blue that they look faded. Only my fingers bear the mark of a master musician, long and slim and gracefully tapered. If you have any idea what I'm talking about, then I bow to you with tons of respect.

Jeron,Sounds like a plan to me! Go for it! By the way, since everyone is describing what they look like, I might as well.
I am 6'1", 180 lbs., dirty blonde hair, blue eyes... I am a composer/conductor. And I live in sunny Cocoa Beach, Fl. where it is still 80 degrees...

Jeron,
webpage good.As to describing myself? 6", 168lbs, crew cut (right now, always changes), unshaven most of the time (can't be bothered), green cat like eyes, rather dark skinn for a German/Irish/American. Wear business like clothes while at work and baggy clothes at home. Am in the process of building muscle since I have always been rather skinny, which is appreciated now judging for all the people I know who are battling the overweight issue.

Jeron,Let me know if you'd like some help.
For those of you who want to see what I was talking about in my earlier post, check out http://sciastro.net/chat/ and clikc on the "Meet Some #sciastro Users" or the "Meet Our Channel Ops" to see their profiles.
That's what I think we need. Nothing really personal like age, height, weight, etc.

That interesting, Kevin. I do like the design, but I'm not quite sure how we'd justify such little information to be a website. I'm not wanting people to tell their life story on their profiles page, but I think it would be fun to learn more about each other and get a feel for the lives each other leads. I dunno... maybe I'm crazy.Just trying to put a new twist on an old trick!

Okay, okay, I guess there aren't any Fredric Brown fans here. If you every run across a compilation of short stories by Fredric Brown in the library, read the story "Eine kleine Nachtmusik." I urge everyone interested in music to read this story.James
