I've seen this score sitting at the store for the longest time... and the other day it occured to me: this is out of print, I should pick it up. Then, the little voice in my head said: "is it really worth it?" Well, I can't listen to it, so I figured I would turn the question over to my fellow collegues here at Moviemusic.com.

Does anyone know anything about this score? Is it good? If so, should I run back to the store in a wild rage?

    Thanks!
    Jeron

PS - Also saw Mrs. Doubtfire (Howard Shore)... should I pick this one up?

It's quite nice, probably picking up as it is getting pretty hard to find. It has quite a quirky Newman theme, partly orchestral and with his usual accoustic backing.

Mrs. Doubtfire is a bit of a one-note soundtrack. The main theme is sprightly and upbeat and there's a nice family theme but not a lot of difference in most of the tracks. Not bad but Josh and Sam is a better buy.
