Backdraft is I think the most emotional score out there I am sure there are more but this one could be at least in the top 3. My Mom always cries when she watches backdraft because of the sad ending and since I am a fireman it makes it worse for her I guess? After the tragic accident this past week of the 4 firefighters being killed,I was playing the last 2 tracks of backdraft and my mom loves the music but it always makes her sad but she loves hanz Zimmer's music. Give me your thoughts on this topic thanks

Backdraft was the second score I bought from Zimmer. A beautiful score no doubt.
It is sad what happened to the firefighters. My prayers are with them and their families.
I think firefighters are the last (or one of the last) true heroes of this age. Incredible committed people.Scott

I just got back from Corpus Christi today and while I was there I went to a place called Wherehouse Music. Pretty cool place. My brother got some pretty rare stuff there like the Specialist score and Sudden Death, and I picked up used copies of Alien Resurrection and (finally) Backdraft. Listening to it made me realize how really good this score is. This is one of the best scores out there and beatufilly blends action with heart-wrenchingly beautiful songs. This is probably the best score by Zimmer by far. I hope that he can do more stuff like this with Gladiators and M:I-2.N.P. Alien Resurrection <***/*****>
