Carter Burwell's score is released on 14th December and I highly recommend it. If you've seen the film you'll know what I mean. It's incredibly beautiful, not unlike his score to Gods and Monsters.

NP: Snow Falling On Cedars (and it's putting me to sleep faster than a sleeping pill)

Does that mean "Snow" is boring?

Maybe I was over-exaggerating about Snow Falling On Cedars. It's icy and atmospheric, quite quiet, some nice themes but overall I thought it was a bit dull. It's got the trademark JNH choir and several tracks are very, very beautiful but it's not my bag.

Are you saying Steve, that Carter Burwell's score to Being John Malkovich is beautiful, not unlike (double negative) his score to Gods and Monsters (which I happen to like very much - very haunting)...which means that you actually like the score to G&M?

Sorry. I know I may be nitpicking your grammar, but you may have bashed a great score.

    - A.

" not unlike " is yes, using a double negative , but it's generally accepted even amongst well versed grammarians. =) Just my two cents.
