Is the link between Jones, Goldenthal, Edelman, and Hammer that they have all composed music for television?

Questions way too hard. Anyone who can figure them out should really get a life (LOL). Try my quiz. Much simpler. Nuff sed.

    Right, stand back...

    1. Very crafty... all Richard Donner films. The missing ones:
    a) Andrew Powell
    b) Michael Kamen/Eric Clapton/David Sanborn (Lethal Weapon)
    c) Michael Kamen/Eric Clapton/David Sanborn (Lethal Weapon 2)
    d) Michael Kamen/Eric Clapton/David Sanborn (Lethal Weapon 3)
    e) Mark Mancina (who replaced Michael Kamen) (Assassins)
    f) Michael Kamen/Eric Clapton/David Sanborn (Lethal Weapon 4)

2: All scored Michael Mann films

    3. Scored Harrison Ford films: Star Wars, Hanover Street, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Blade Runner, Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Witness/Mosquito Coast, Working Girl (co-scored with Rob Mounsey), Frantic, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Sabrina. Phew...

    4. Harold Faltermeyer; Beverly Hills Cop, Fletch, Fatal Beauty and Tango & Cash

    5. I can only think of two -- Hans Zimmer and Michael Kamen

    6. Sorry, no idea on this one...

Apart from the last one -- not too tough. Excellent questions. A quiz for true film fans... how did I do?

PS Aaron -- I have a life, I just know a lot about film music too

    Very good....

    1) Correct. Aside from Michael Kamen, Donner continues to be highly varied in his choice of composers.

    2) Also correct. With the exception of Jan Hammer, who did the Miami Vice series.

    3) Correct again - (the last two should be "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", and "Presumed Innocent"...)

    4) Correct a fourth time - Putting Tom Cruise and Christian Slater in there might have been too much of a tip off...

    5) Hans Zimmer (Zoe Zimmer), Michael Kamen (Sandra, Sasha, and Zoe), and Basil Poledouris (Zoe Poledouris).

    6) No points - All nominated for Best Original Score of 1975 -- the year Williams won for "Jaws".

Good job, there. Knew someone would do it.

Well, I digress... I didn't mean to offend anybody. I'm just out of your leaugue I guess. I've only been collecting film scores since '94, so I still have a lot to learn, especially about the older composers (Rozsa, North, Bertnstein, Steiner, Bacarach, A. Newman, etc.)

I was going to put down "Harrison Ford" for q#3, but I hesitated. Oh well...
