Welcome back, Danny. Its good to hear you again. Its dark, beautiful, gothic, folklore-ish (is that a word?) and most of all, its Elfman. Not "Civil Action" Elfman. Not "A Simple Plan" Elfman. This is ELFMAN. It evokes the same kind of feelings as Edward Scissorhands, Batman, and Black Beauty. It pulls you into a dark fantasy world, but this time, its not the timeless suburbia of "Scissorhands" or the shadowy realms of Gotham City as in "Batman", but an New England town rooted in legends and folklore. Elfmans music emits the atmosphere of that time and story with....perfection.
My favorite Elfman since Edward Scissorhands.

Its not a review though...just a first impression of the overall feel of it. If I'm going to post a full review, I'll wait till you do first.

Thanks Capt for the info. Is any of the music in the teaser and full trailers?NOW everyone one, because SFT is the biggest Elfman fan I know, I think he should write the first soundtrack review. This means SFT you need to get an import of the CD
....Before I do...HEH Kidding

Just so you all know, Jeron and I will once again team up to write the review ofr this score.

I wanted to get this CD today SO BADLY! I went to Best Buy and it wasn't out yet, but they had tons of boxes and carts out and they were stocking stuff, so I asked one of the employees. He said, "Oh yeah, lots of people have asked for that. We have several copies, but we lost them. If you come back tomorrow, we'll probably have found them by then."!?!?!?!?@#$!?&*^#@!!*?!!!!!!!!
