I was wondering whether should I get The Three Musketeers by Michael Kamen. Does it sound anything like Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves? Perhaps some feedback of the "pros and cons" of the score.NP Days of Thunder ******/***** (yup, 6 stars!)

Hey Will-Personally, I think "The Three Musketeers" is a very enjoyable score. I listen to it every once in awhile, and am always happy w/ what I hear. It's on a different level than "Robin Hood" - though the sound is a little more developed and the action cues are stated in a much bolder sense. The "All For One" theme is great, and blends in with the score well.
If you ask me, go for it - you won't be disappointed if you like Kamen.

I just got that score recently, infact. To be honest, I am not very impressed with it, but it does have itīs moments, and if you are a Kamen fan then you should definately get it ASAP (!)

I like Three Musketeers a lot better than Prince of Thieves personally.

I really like the score, especially the first score track (can't think of the name off the top of my head). Go for it!

Great score. Not quite as developed and well rounded as Robin Hood, but it has some nice swashbuckler action cues. It reminds me more of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen than anything else he did.
