On November 16th, a record label called Casual Tonalities will release this suprisingly good score by Mark Mothersbaugh and Jamshied Sharifi. It's about time! I've seen this movie (and the TV show) multiple times (5-year-old sister) and I'm continually impressed with what Mothersbaugh did with the movie score. Given the music from the show, I wasn't expecting much the first time I heard it, but I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of the weird music box sounds he uses on the series, Mothersbaugh and Sharifi employed the full power of the London Metropolitan Orchestra for a score that while not at all original, is very enjoyable and fun to listen to. I'll be picking this one up, no question.
