Alright folks. I'm about to go to school - and frankly, I'm hating that fact right now, cause all I can think about is getting the new Bond CD. Oh well, History and Math must come first. But as SOON as that last class is over, I'm am like... INSTANTLY at Best Buy - and it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

Crono and I will be co-composing a review for everyone today. Look for it tonight or tomorrow.

Well - I'm listening to it right now... and I must say, I'm about to jump out of my chair, put on my tux, get a pp7 and go riding in my BMW... if i had one.

I'm not disappointed, but I won't say any more than that - cause I'll be writing a review soon.

This is the day of reckoning and I am anxious to see what everyone says about TWINE. Our Arnold interview goes online at exactly 12 midnight Pacific time tonight, so if you're up come on by!

BTW...if anyone has the promo score for Arnold's Godzilla and they want to donate a review right now please let me know at vance@scorelogue.com.

Keep me posted on your thoughts about TWINE, Jeron and Crono

I'm listening to it right now and I must say:

    DAMN! I love it!

Although I'm not a big fan of electronics incorporated into film music, it generally works very well as a backbeat (yes, the synths back the orchestra, not the other way around as a certain popular filmmusic site would have you believe) to Arnold's complex orchestral intensity. I must say, I don't like the record scratch effects though....I mean, comeon', this is James Frickin Bond. But thats basically my only complaint.

And, believe it or not, this is the first Bond song that I think is actually good in the 90's.

    Keep it up, Davey-boy!

Hey Dan...thanks a lot for the kind words on the David Arnold interview, but I do owe an apology for the lack of bandwidth at ScoreLogue.

We received not one but two notices of "shut downs" due to heavy traffic that exceeded our bandwidth. Both of these down times happened early in the a.m. Pacific time (before I was even awake )I really do apologize for this because as opposed to having a nice message come up that says "check back later" and "too busy" there is a "server is too busy" message when the thing shuts down.

The reason, I was told by our server administrator, was heavy traffic at david_arnold.html. We just were not prepared for the onslaught of Bond/Arnold fans. Please be patient if you were unable to access the interview earlier today and try back tonight.

Thanks and again I do apologize for the earlier shut downs.

Just tbought you should know that I picked it up today! Great stuff! It feels more like Bond than even the original Barry stuff..which kind of makes me feel like an idiot but oh well.

NP - hehehe we all know that now don't we?

For the odd stuff from the CD Jeron has kindly sent me I agree it is very Barry like, and indeed some of it reminds me of 'The Living Daylights'....loving what I have heard so far, and cant' wait to have the bloody CD in my hand on saturday.

    Dan (UK)

PS: YES, Jeron and Crono's review is AWESOME, as is the actual reiew of the CD at ScoreLogue which I forgot to praise in my last post.

Ok, I now own the bloody cd myself! Ack. HMV in Oxford street didnt have the import, they're only gonna stock the UK version of the CD released on the 22nd. Well, as I have said elswhere only a crazed loon would wait so long. So, my 2nd and last port of call for it was The Cinema Store just of Licester Square, and sure enough, they had it (and Toy Story 2 which HMV didnt have either). Sweeeet!

    Review on the way.
