I was flipping through the channels last night and i saw this movie on, but there was only fifteen minutes left. From what i saw, some of the music was kind of cool. Is there anybody who saw all of the first part last night? If so, what did you think of the music?

    Jasom,
saw most of the movie. I liked the music a lot but I'm a stickler for Irish music anyway. If history is any indication, then the cd with the score will be released soon. Can hardly wait.

Missed the beginning of the show, so i don't know who composed the score.

Hey Guys, the Composer was Richard Harvey. He is a new one to me.

Richard Harvey did the music for Alice in Wonderland (I think) and Animal Farm. He's kind of Hallmark's new choice "made for tv" film composer. I was hoping they would have Hallmark Vet Trever Jones do the score, as I'm sure he would have done wonders w/ an Irish influence. Oh well.

Richard Harvey is good! Perhaps he'll shine even more than he has previously. Animal Farm was great.

Jeron- It was Richard Hartley who did the music for Alice in Wonderland. Isn't that confusing?

Richard Hartley also composed the music for the film A Thousand Acres. At about the same time, he wrote some music for the worst film from 1997 Playing God. Not so much a newcomer to music, he composed and arranged a LOT of music for The Rocky Horror Picture Show. That puts him on the scene some 20 years ago!

I saw the second half of the movie tonight and I thought the music was ok, but not good enough to buy. There were a couple of parts that sounded similar to Merlin. I also see that a new TV movie is on next week, Mary, Mother of Jesus. I wonder who is scoring it. I checked NBC.com and they didn't have anyone listed for composer.
