I know that those who reply this post will be either shot, killed, or maimed... especially by some guy with initials who is an Elfman fan

Anyway these are some of the scores which came with high recomendations from you guys which I don't own or at least yet (Note that promos and bootlegs are not counted, only general releases):

    1. Braveheart
    2. Batman (SFT is gonna shoot me)
    3. Batman Returns (SFT will blow me to oblivion !)
    4. The Mummy
    5. The Matrix
    6. The 13th Warrior (not my fault, it is not here in Malaysia yet!)
    7. Small Soldiers (not my fault once again)
    8. Pleasantville (waiting for the price to drop)
    9. Star Wars: A New Hope (believe it or not, but gonna get it real soon!)
    10. Saving Private Ryan (haven't watched it either)
    11. The Thin Red Line (pending, any opinions)

So what are the great scores which you don't have? Feel free to list them all, and don't worry about getting killed!

    Hmm, let me think....

While I do that, I'll reply to a few of the ones you listed.

I didn't pick up Braveheart, because I never felt like I wanted the music. Heck, I barely made it through the movie.

I haven't got Pleasantville, mainly because it's too expensive for the short time on the CD.

Star Wars? Heck, I've got three copies of it, plus one on LP.

    ...still thinking....

I"m sure there are some out there that I haven't purchased, but they escape me. I do know that I don't have Schindler's List or Amistad.

It's funny - I would have listed several... but yesterday I was inspired to update my Williams' collection. I had some money to blow, and figured I would use it on cds (surprised? no, i don't think so).

    I bought the following:

    Schindler's List
    Saving Private Ryan
(have the advanced release, wanted the commercial)
    Far and Away
    E.T. - The Extraterrestrial
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
    Amistad

...and because of endless rave reviews, Horner's Braveheart. I think I've covered all the main Williams' and Horner components missing in my collection.

Just figured I would share, I found it quite ironic.

    Hey WILL!!

I would be more than happy to sell you The Matrix by Don Davis (ORIGINAL COPY) and the 13th Warrior by Jerry Goldsmith (ORIGINAL COPY) for a good price. Like I had said before, I really didn't think The Matrix was all that impressive, and the same goes with the 13th Warrior, but I always like to properly "allocate" resources, so e-mail me if you are interested.

    Back to topic,

Good Will Hunting - Danny Elfman
    Big - Howard Shore

Both are WAY too expensive an unemployed student right now. Hopefully things will look up financially.

I, too, am unemployed so I don't have many.

All I can think of right now is:

    13th Warrior
    Superman
    Soldier
    The Fugitive
    Enemy of the State

However, my birthday is Thursday so hopefully I will get some of these. I do have tape copies though.

SFT - Everybody has A NEW HOPE? Heh, heh...

...I'm missing ALL THREE (SIX) SW Trilogy CDs!!! Special edition, that is. I have the initial CD releases along with all of the original LPs, so they're not at the top of my list yet.

The only other I can think of off the top of my head is The Shawshank Redemption. Unless out-of-print CDs count. Do out-of-print releases count?

Excuse me while I wax nostalgic, but does anybody remember an early 80's British flick called "Time Bandits." I used to watch it all the time. I recently watched it on DVD and really liked the music. Off hand, I don't remember who did the music, and to the best of my knowledge, it's never been released.

    S Smith,

Man I love "Time Bandits", that is a great movie. I don't think I have watched it for about five years though. And since I have only been into scores for about four years I don't remember the music for it. I will have to rent that movie again and pay attention to the music as well.

    S,

Yeah! Time Bandits was great! That it was done by most of the "Monty Python" cast made it even better.

It came out in 1981, and according to IMDB, George Harrison and Mike Moran did the music.
