Am I the only one here that find Stargate SG-1 has some great music in each and every episode? I bought the Stargate SG-1 soundtrack and enjoyed it immensely. Heck, it's becoming a permanent CD in my drive. But what I wished for is more music from the show. One of my favourite cues is in Second Season Episode: Fifth Race. The music during the scene where Jack O'Neill met the Asgard race was awe inspiring. Thankfully I taped that episode and have yet to miss listening to it on video everyday

One CD is hardly justifiable for the excellent show. Anyone with any news whether more music from the tv show will be release? Star Trek (TNG) had good coverage of their score from their excellent episodes ..maybe Stargate SG-1 needs one too...

Exarkun - I completely agree. It's funny you bring this up... I was watching the show today and was thinking the exact same thing. I even pulled out the SG-1 cd and was listening to it earlier... weird, huh?Joel Goldsmith did an excellent job w/ Arnolds themes - and did an even better job adapting his own style to them. There's a lot of great material on the SG-1 cd... and it blends the old and the new perfectly.
Personally, I'd love to see another release of this oh-so-worthy music. Let's hope for the best.

Thanks guys
Actually I have been around for some time but I've been keeping quiet and seeing you guys argue
I've had the nick Exarkun for quite sometime. I adopted it the moment I saw his image (with the three scars on his cheek) from the Dark Horse comics. I think that was 4-5 years ago

Let's just hope they release more music from SG-1

I'd like to add my vote for more Stargate SG-1 CDs. If Babylon 5 can generate beaucoup CDs, so should this series.Marc Flake
