I really like this score, but I have one problem with the CD... the sound quality is horrible!! It sounds hollow and distant, like a low-quality MP3. My question is this: is this sound problem consistent in all copies, or is it just mine that's bad?James NP - Music from the Galaxies (****)

James, I had the same question when I first got my copy.I agree it really sounds hollow, like they recorded the score in a tin can. When I first listened to it I thought it might just be my copy, and since I got mine when Intrada had it as a deletion for 99¢.I got another one and it had the same sound.I do wonder though, what could have caused that? Guys, it was just a bad recording. Face it. There's nothing we can do about it.~Jeron

Robert Folk is one of those composers that is not well recognized.. mostly cause he gets stuck scoring those forgotten films, like Lost in Paradise, In the Army Now, Lawnmower Man 2, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.. I'm sure the producers don't think that his music will sell when the movies that go with them are obviously not of the highest quality. Maybe someday.. he'll get a good project, and he'll be better recognized, with better soundtrack recordings.lets keep our fingers crossed. -Dawk np: Danny Elfman - Good Will Hunting

Robert Folk is the bomb. I'll soon be fortunate enough to get a copy of his "Toy Soldiers" which I have been looking for...since the movie came out. Anyway,he is a great composer.Of course this is only my humble opinion. Scott
