I just watched Rocky 5 and enjoyed the score for it. The music for the final fight was very good. There seems to be renewed interest in Bill Conti's music since the Thomas Crown Affair opened. I know Rocky 5 is an older movie was what did you think of the music? Also, does anybody know if the score is out on bootleg, promo, or cd-r? Thanks.

To me Rocky V is one of Conti's best scores to date, though my favorites still are The Karate Kid scores. The problem is that Bill Conti has never been lucky with the releases of his music. Most of his work is NOT on CD or even vinyl.
That means that you can't find Rocky V anywhere, not even a promo or bootleg CD. I recorded the soundtrack from the VHS a few years ago, and I'd eventualy make some MP3s of it to make it available, since there isn't any other source. That's really sad, and we might have to wait until he gets another academy award, or maybe after his death, to have some of those masterpieces in CD format.
