Does anyone know what music is coming on the FANTASIA 2000 movie?

I heard music from "Rhapsody in Blue" by Gershwin(I think it was the one with the whales), the 1st movement from "Symphony No.5" by Beethoven. A repeat, itīs a classic: Mickey Mouse in "The Sorcererīs Apprentice" and something with Donald Duck

This was the line-up last I heard:

Paul Dukas: THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE (repeat)
Amilcare Ponchielli: DANCE OF THE HOURS (repeat)
Camille Saint-Saens: CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS
Ottorino Respighi: THE PINES OF ROME
    Betthoven: FIFTH SYMPHONY
Dimitri Shostakovich: PIANO CONCERTO NO. 2
Sir Edward Elgar: POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE (the Donald piece)
    Igor Stravinsky: THE FIREBIRD
    George Gershwin: RHAPSODY IN BLUE

It will (last I heard) be performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and conducted by James Levine.

    FOLLOW-UP NOTE:
It will open on January 1st at IMAX theaters, unless of course Y2K shuts them down. After that, I don't think it will be at "regular" theaters until May.

According to UpcomingMovies.com, the whales are part of "The Pines of Rome" segment. But then again the Internet isn't always reliable...

And then let's not forget Bruce Broughton is composing the transitional score segments...

No, actually, he isn't. They took him out (or he got out, one or the other.)

Yes, they decided there aren't going to be any transitional segments.

The one thing about the first Fantasia that I didn't like was the editing they did with the music. Night on Bald Mountain is a great 11 minute piece that got cut down to about 5. I only hope they don't do a really bad hack job on this one. The Firebird is a pretty long multi-movement suite, so editing is probably going to be unavoidable.
