Once again, I get to advertise the much underrated Grand Canyon....I can't praise it enough.

Watch the movie while you are at it!

If you don't have Wyatt Earp, that would be the next score to buy. Outbreak would be next on the list. Many people like The Fugitive but I personally sold my copy. Grand Canyon is an interesting, jazz/pop type of JNH score with a very small orchestra assembly popping up only occasionally; something atypical of him so it might not be for everyone. I do personally like it.

I don't find other scores you listed interesting.

    Jeron,
As mainstream JNH scores, look for these.
Three are OOP, but can be found on a regular basis
    at ebay.

    Alive
    The Man In The Moon
    Restoration
    Wyatt Earp

Also, here's a JNH devoted website:

Sorry, doesn't really answer your question, but we help
    as we can...

    Jeron,

For the deals Intrada's giving, The Fugitive and Grand Canyon are great buys for the music involved.

Glad to hear that you have Dave. So my number one Howard pick is scratched off the list. Next, if you can find it, get Alive. It is so beautiful. It comes HIGHLY recommended.
Devil's Advocate has no actual theme. If you can get past that, the horror music is superb. There is a huge choral moment towards the end that is great. but then again.. no theme. I'd pick this one up used.
Outbreak is better than Devil's Advocate. It does have a cool rhythm-based main title, but the most impressive piece in the score is in the last track. After the action builds for minutes. it bursts into a fast and furious climax of octave leaping strings and loud brass.
Skip A Perfect Murder. It's mostly atmospheric music.
Primal Fear doesn't have much, but it does have a simple but cool theme that you will either like or find repetitive. I do like the theme, but the score as a whole is rather unimpressive. Pick it up used if you can.
Space Jam is fun. It has hints of a lot of Howard scores. It's very unpredictable and moves from idea to idea very fast so you don't have much time to enjoy what's there. I would pick this one up, it has some great moments and really is quite addictive.
    Hope this helps!

I'll put my vote in for Grand Canyon and The Fugitive. Both are interesting scores. I'm hoping to pick up The Sixth Sense this week.

I would say that Fugitive is the best on the list, although Wyatt Earp is better. Outbreak is also very good. The others I have not heard.

I have about every JNH score out there. You might want to also check out FLATLINERS/FALLING DOWN. That score was the first time I noticed his style. I agree with previous notice about WYAAT EARP -- a definate must have. FLATLINERS is out of print but you can probably find a promo.

If you haven't put in your Intrada order yet, take a look at Mark McKenzie's "Frank And Jesse" for $3.99 I bought this score recently (for a bit more) and it is excellent.
