Coming off of the steam of the Phantom Menace, which overwhelmed my senses and fulfilled my urge for a masterpiece score, I just wanted to know what other scores are most of you anticipated about?

    Here are mine:

    1) Star Wars: Episode II (can't believe I have to wait 1000 days for this, but I guess it's better than 20 years, no?)
    2) Final Fantasy - The Movie (Summer of 2001, I believe)
    3) Superman Reborn/Lives
    4) Mission Impossible 2 (Zimmer or Elfman?)
    5) The Haunting
    6) Superman Complete Score from Rhino

    Any others?

I canīt wait until Sleepy Hollow comes out! It is going to be magnificent!
As for Mission: Impossible, I wonīt be sure about who is scoring it, before I actually see the movie.

    SFT

    NP: Wolf, Ennio Morricone

PS: TPM a masterpiece score? I liked SPR more. Williamīs best since Schindlers List.

    Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

I just hope to God that they pick a great composer rather than a newbie. If someone like Poledouris or Williams was chosen to score this, I would crap my pants with anticipation.

Lord of the Rings? Hmmm... I think Horner or veteran to the series, Leonard Rosenman would do a good job.

    My most anticipated scores:

The World Is Not Enough (Arnold)
    The 13th Warrior (Goldsmith)
    The Haunting (Goldsmith)
Wild Wild West - anxious for the release... (Bernstein)
    ...any other Goldsmith releases...

END OF DAYS!!! Go Debney! I'm also looking forward to Sleepy Hollow and The 13th Warrior, and of course that space movie that Williams is doing...

I'm also interested in the next major Disney animated production, Kingdom Of The Sun. Last I heard, Sting was doing the songs and Marc Shaiman was doing the score. If Disney keeps up the great work they did with Tarzan, this one should be great as well.

    James
NP - The House on Sorority Row (Richard Band) ****

First off, I am anticipating all three of John Williams' next projects, which include:

    Star Wars: Episode II
    Indiana Jones 4
    Jurassic Park 3

    I cannot wait!!

Lord of the Rings? Is that the one with the Hobbit. It would be neat to see Willow or Mini-Me play the Hobbit. Well anyways I think Poledouris would be a good choice. Is score to Conan is great!

I am also anticipating Jerry Goldsmiths' The Haunting on Hill House and The 13th Warrior. Horners The Grinch that Stole Christmas should be good too. It better be, it is the only movie he is scoring right now!

Others are Sleepy Hollow and the X-Men movie(It sounds corny, but some comic book characters get good themes; i.e: Superman and Batman. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like Mortal Kombat)

Now regarding SFT's P.S. I think that The Phantom Menace is a masterpiece. It is amazing in all aspects and rates high as one of John Williams' best!

    Aaron

N.P: instead of playing I have a movie going and that movie is In Dreams. It is an ok score.

As for Lord Of The Rings I would be delighted to see either Basil Poledouris or John Debney score the movie.

    Deep Blue Sea
Misson Impossible 2 (If Zimmer is scoring)
    The Haunting
Lord Of The Rings (If Elfman or Rosenman arenīt scoring)
    The 13th Warrior
Sleepy Hollow (Hope Elfman does something similar to Batman and Edward Scissorhands, not the stuff he has been up to lately)
    Anything from Debney and Poledouris
