I'm sitting here with my cousin watching this movie... I forgot how great a movie it is. Listening to the music while the movie progresses has made me curious about how well it is presented on CD. I've seen the CD at the store. Does anyone here have it? If so, is it any good? Lemme know!Jeron

Jeron,I really like the score to Bram Stoker's Dracula, it is composed by Wojciech Kilar. It is some of the best "dark" music that I have heard, Kilar is awesome at creating horror music out of actual themes and motifs instead of just spooky noises like most horror composers do. In my opinion this score is definitely a good listen outside of the movie.

I was lucky to pick this up for £3.50 but unfortunately only on tape. I think its a great score with some lovely central themes and some dark and moody choral stuff. The way Kilar superimposes the "love theme" within the "Hunt/Dracula theme" is superb. Anyway here are the track detailsDracula-the beginning 6:41
Vampire Hunters 3:05
Mina's Photo 1:25
Lucy's Party 2:56
The Brides 4:56
The Storm 5:04Love Remembered 4:10
The Hunt Builds 3:25
The Hunters prelude 1:29
The Green mist :54
Mina/Dracula 4:47
The Ring of Fire 1:51
Love Eternal 2:23
Ascension :50
End Credits 6:42
Love Song for a Vampire 4:21(Annie Lennox)
Hope this is of some help. Gae NP Shadows of the Empireposted 06-28-1999 12:33 PM PT (US)

A really good foreboding score. In fact, you will notice it is still used in many trailers. DEMOLITION MAN trailer comes to mind. Worth the buy.NP: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: D.Elfman (***1/2)
