I´m hearing alot about Tim Burtons new movie "Sleepy Hollow" and I also know that Danny Elfman is going to compose the score to it. Does anybody know what the movie actually is about? Is it a horrormovie or just a wierd Burton comedie? I´m aksing because I would like to have a clue as to what score might be needed for it, and therefore what to expect from Elfman, thanks.

This is a love story about a headless knight (Johnny Depp) I think, and the scoregoing to be percussive and brassy.

C'mon, you've never heard of the famous legend of Sleepy Hollow? It's a classic! Go to your local library and ask about it at the information desk.

go to your internet library then, i dont have time to explain the plot, hehe...anyway..its sort of an action/comedy/horror version of the legend, with Johnny Depp as Icabod Crane and Christopher Walkman as the headless horseman/the bad guy. Christina Ricci is in it as well, as the love interest(shes MY age for christ's sakes, Depp is 17 years older 'n me). lotta people, check out imdb for more info.

It's being shot here in the UK, some is being done at Shepperton Studios and by the looks of it, from driving past a few times, they've being doing up a set on the Leavsden backlot. Glad Burton put Superman aside to do Sleepy Hollow, should be wonderful.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving, is the story of Ichabod Crane, a skinny school master who moves to Sleepy Hollow. He falls in love with Katrina Van Tassel, the most eligible woman in town, and the most beautiful. In competition, is Brom Bones, a big, tough man who's jealous of Crane's love interests. Crane meets up with the local legend, The Headless Horseman, and it's a battle to the death, but whose?

According to what I've read, Burton has radically changed the storyline, and that explains the shortened name to Sleepy Hollow. It'll be interetsing to see how it all turns out, especially with Ricci, Depp and Elfman involved!
