Tarzan, score by Mark Mancina, will have only four (4) score tracks on the release CD. Sucks

Well, that's more of a musical than a regular movie, so that doesn't surprise me. By the way, who's doing the music and lyrics for that, anybody know?

The Tarzan songs are by Phil Collins- and not necessarily musical songs per se. They will be songs that fit moments not sung by characters- like Toy Story with Randy Newman's material. The only character that sings is Rosie O' Donnell as an elephant scattin' through her trunk that acts as a horn. Check out the Tarzan soundtrack website- you can hear all of Collins' songs from the movie- which are really good (anything was better than Matthew Wilder's stuff from Mulan), I especially recommend the downloadable listen of "Strangers Like Me". If you're at all a Phil Collins fan- it's definitely worth a look.

I heard that Mancina also orchestrated and arranged the Phil Collins songs. Just listen to the trailer.
