My CD player has one tray and plays only one CD at a time.

Right now, at this very second, I have Chandos Malcolm Arnold Film Music [Volume One] in and am playing The Inn of the 6th Happiness, which has one of the great Main Titles of all time (though I'm past that part right now).

That's not too bad. Imagine it would play three or more at a time. You'd go barking mad.

I don't have a CD changer anymore in the new system, but I wouldn't trade the better sound for my old changer.

this evening I have 3 scores picked out.

right now, The Sand Pebbles is getting a spin. It's a special CDR I made that includes the LP transfer (11 tracks) I made combined with the 13 re-recorded tracks from Varese. 24 tracks running about 76 minutes.

stupid perhaps, but it's a damn fine score, and the LP tracks simply MUST be heard, even if they are in mono.

    3/14/01 - 1:05pm

At the office with no soundtracks handy. However, I am listening to the killer, live version of "Question and Answer" off Pat Metheny Trio-Live (disk one).
