I definetly do. I have been listening to it about every other day since the movie opened. I love just about every track on the cd except for the Houston-Carey version of 'Miracles'.

As far as I know there is no only score album or promo. Wal-mart had a special POE album when the movie came out that either had one extra score track or two. I beleive it contained the Chariot Race music.

Daniel,Thanks for the info. I saw a Prince of Egypt CD at a local used store that looked different than any I have seen, it is possible that it was the Wal-Mart special edition. Can anyone tell me how to tell for sure if it is in fact the special edition disk?
Thanks again,

The Wal-Mart special was in a box with a book. The cd contained two more scores from H. Zimmer.Daniel J said that he did not like pop version of "When you Believe". Seriously I didn't like the score all that much. And for reasons beyond me the only track of the cd I listen to is that track. I almost never listen to a pop version of a song on a soundtrack. I think Houston has an awesome voice. She should probably sing opera.

the reason why i did not like their version of the song was because it seemed like they were competing against each other. it just did not seem like either one wanted to play back up to the other so they both over did it. don't get me wrong.i do think they are both extremly talented but, in this song i think it just worked against them. i thought the animated version of the song worked much better.

You said that well, Daniel J. It DOES sound as if it's a competition. The one from the movie is better.

I have another opinion to offer. I didn't like the movie. The Prince of Egypt too strongly exemplifies a problem I've noticed in some films- this kind either needs it's tone to go toward a "Family" genre or an "Adult" genre. PG is too vague a rating to cover these mutual grounds and the film can't decide which it wants to be. Thhere are too many young people who won't understand the old testament treatment of this story. I don't buy a soundtrack if I don't like the movie normally- it usually doesn't seem to have a good justification as to why I should spend the money. I am as much appreciative of Zimmer's music as the next guy, but this film did not make me want to go buy the soundtrack. It's certainly not his fault. Let's see if "The Road To El Dorado" fares better for myself and those who share my opinion.
