Hello all,Er, looks like I'm the first one here.
"Echo (echo, echo, echo)"
I must say I do love these forums, I go to many that run of the same programme (Home Theater Forum for example) and there has never been a time where I've not been impressed with them! This is going to be great and I look forward to seeing the names of the Movietunes crew here so we can continue ranting and raving about film music!Right then, er, someone think up a topic!

No poppup advertisement boxes!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What makes this messageboard so much better than the (old) Movietunes Messageboard is not the looks, or the features, but the total lack of java-enhanced advertisements (you know, the things with the sounds and animation and those damned poppup boxes).

There was an incident where a Movietunes Poppup box informed me that I could have better sex if I "click here".

Heh
For the heck of it, I found the 1st Messages from almost (Gosh - has it really been?) 2 years ago, when his Eminence PeterK (insert choral music here) brought us this wonderful site that (most of us) are still using today. Thanks again PK for this site. I am one of the many (yet not very prolific) people who sing your praises every day. Well... maybe not every day, but you see where I'm coming from.

Kevin, my proper title is "His FishChippinence." Thanks for the support I *know* you've given. And to everyone else who's purchased from the store, I raise my glass. But, stay tuned. As always, still MORE to come.It was funny to read this post again, especially the pop-up ad liberation stories!

Don't you think you should only bring up one post? You brought up another one as well. It gets annoying after awhile.

Wow, five years. And I still haven't figured out how to make a dollar per thread on this damned thing. Have we really talked about movie music for five years? Could there be anything left to talk about?
