Master_Kevin's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by Master_Kevin on 3/27/2006 favorite track: 1 I have to admit, I quite like Dario Marianelli's music. I really love his Pride and Prejudice soundtrack. V for Vendetta is one of those scores that works very well in the movie, but on CD it doesn't make for such an enjoyable listen. I mean, there are cues that are outstanding ("Remember, Remember"; "Evey Reborn"; "Knives and Bullets (And Cannons Too)"). But the rest of the score is really... mediocre and somewhat boring.
There are three non-score songs on the disc. I love the last one the most, "Bird Gerhl."
All in all, it is not a bad score, but it is not overly great. Some great cues though. see all reviews, or add a review
