diachenko's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by diachenko on 3/18/2008 The great thing about Christopher Young's horror and thriller scores is that they mix just enough of the cliches in to remind you of what genre you're watching, but are not mindless drones, percussion, and slashing strings (nothing wrong with this, but those scores show less imagination and do not make a good album listen). Young has created a very haunting, piano-driven score that works very well as a separate listing experience. Plenty of suspense and action as well, but the first two tracks just grabbed me right away. Gorgeous, but unsettling. I recommend this score. see all reviews, or add a review
