Mirna's review of this soundtrack CD:

This is an unusual soundtrack for an equally unusual movie, though I must say the film didn't deserve such good music. Graeme Revell's four instrumentals are haunting, chilling, thrilling tiny masterpieces - I only wish they lasted longer. As for the songs, highlights include David Lynch regular Julee Cruise and the ever reliable U2; pay special attention to the beginning of track 15 - hearing Jane Siberry and k. d. lang list the names of saints in some sort of weird litany is one of the most unsettling listening experiences you're likely to come across. All in all, a troubling, demanding and ultimately rewarding soundtrack.
