One of the most highly underrated (not to mention forgotten about) action scores of all time, Gary Chang's rhythmic and engaging score to Under Siege is a highly original, fresh-faced piece of work. Combining everything from brass to electric guitars to electronics to super-cool percussion, this exciting aural experience is really something worth owning if you might like something a little different.

I like all the tracks, but the main theme is probably the most memorable. Patriotic and humble, it's a lovely piece. I only did not give this full marks because some might say it is harder to listen to away from the movie (itself also brilliant), and also due to the fact that one or two of the tracks are rather "samey."

I have yet to hear Chang's other work, but I would love to hear more about this gentleman, not to mention another action score of his if he ever gets the chance in future. Well done, Gary! A marvellous piece of scoring.
