Demetris Christodoulides's review of this soundtrack CD:

Terror Tract comes as one of the least known but most important Tyler scores. In nature, it's very close to his ultimate masterpiece Darkness Falls, a score composed three years later and one that received much more recognition.

Both share the same aggressive tone, the same ominously dark and intensely evil orchestral core, only this one here has a slightly smaller and rawer sound overall, something that makes it appear as a smaller-scale score.

Still, this is only seemingly valid cause as you'll find yourself, once you start dwelling in the dark corridors, captivating atmosphere and driving themes of such a brooding dark beast as Terror Tract, there's no turning back. Lovers of quality horror film music, rush for this gem.
