While the film was your typical 80s dross, the soundtrack is excellent. I'm a Meatloaf fan and as several of the S.O.F. tracks were penned by Jim Steinman, it has a great rock feel. If this soundtrack has been discontinued, shame on MCA, if it's out of stock please, please get some copies in soon, as mine is scratched and won't play.
