While this score may recieve a few negativisms meant to dismiss it a Hans Zimmer theft, the truth is that if it borrowed from Zimmer, it borrowed the right spirit of adrenaline suited very well to the frenetic pace of film.

Outside of the film, listening here shows that there are enough cues to clue in the listener that this is definitely music fueled by BT style. All the usual flavors are here: stuttering sounds to break monotony in other techno riffs stand the standard stinger moment on its head, and techno beats (coded by someone who knows how), coupled with a muscular horn section, gives this score a fresh shade differing from other blends of electronic and symphonic music.

Those who will hate this score will do so largely because they either didn't like the movie, or that they are pre-disposed to frowning on music by Massive Attack, Eric Serra, or music found on the latter two Matrix scores. If you embrace as many different types of music as you can, and love music that makes gooseflesh of your skin and gets your heart pumping, then this score is most definitely for you.

At the very least, I know I like it.
