This score is a blast. I had not heard any Clint Mansell scores before Sahara, but I'll be checking out his other work. Stylistically, this score is similar to Alan Silvestri's The Mummy Returns (which I love). It has great adventure themes, lots of action, big brass orchestration, some ethnic singing, basically a bit of everything. The best word I can use to describe its overall effect is "entertaining."
