diachenko's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by diachenko on 4/23/2008 favorite track: 7 Is there any genre that John Powell doesn't do well? This score is overflowing with romantic sentimentality, but it is done so beautifully, in a similar style as I Am Sam (though not as quirky). The string-dominated music is anchored by an acoustic guitar, and enhanced by some wonderful bell percussion (I'm always a sucker for bells!). Gorgeous main theme that threads its way throughout the score. I highly recommend this music. And I can't wait for Powell's score for the upcoming Hancock... see all reviews, or add a review
