A fine score indeed. Elfman has a way with a melody that can start out calm then escalate to pounding proportions, only to turn dark and scary at key moments.

I especially like the oveture piece he has written for this film, as it is a fantastically zany piece to fit the appropriately zany Pee Wee Herman.

Overall, I recommend this score as both a fan of film music, and Danny Elfman's work as well.
