sentm's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by sentm on 5/26/2006 favorite track: 7 This disc is a veritable cocktail of sounds evoking one of our most contrasting decades: the repressive yet slap-happy 50s. It's a step back in time, with blues/jazz original scores written by Mark Suozzo, orchestral arrangements by Perez Prado and Artie Shaw as well as period country songs by artists like Hank Ballard & The Midnighters (with "Sexy Ways"), Eddy Arnold and Patsy Cline. The artists and songs chosen for the film soundtrack exquisitely underline the naivete, beauty and allure of America's greatest pin-up model. see all reviews, or add a review
