At last, this charming score is on CD! I've been waiting for this Newman gem for years, and it was worth the wait. This is David Newman at his best-lovely melodies, top-notch orchestration, and a wonderful sense of fantasy. The music is at turns whimsical, frenetic, tender, sly, and joyous. It perfectly compliments and drives the movie. DeVito and Newman are a wonderful team. Now if someone will just release "Death to Smoochy."
