Probably one of the finest examples of perfect partnering of visual gag, plot and music in perfect sync. Mancini's score for the film (that literally defined all film gag sequences to come) scores for nostalgic cheese as much today as it did in its time for truly defining the film's character. Professor Fate's theme (for Jack Lemmon & Peter Faulk's characters) is historic as one of the simplest yet memorable themes in movie history.
