JangosDaddy's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by JangosDaddy on 10/7/2007 Ok, bigger is better! Most could not stand this huge monster movie by Roland Emmerich and company, but, I LOVED IT. 1998 is when it came out. An "inspired" soundtrack came out with only a few tracks by the terrific composer David Arnold. Shocking, considering this movie was released two years after the HUGE hit Independence Day from the same director/crew and, of course, David Arnold. Finally... thank you LALA Land for finally giving us this great score on two discs. Mr. Arnold's score is epic, over the top, frenetic, funny and touching. One of the BEST scores of 1998 and or the last decade. Get this score while you can! see all reviews, or add a review
