This is actually a very good collection of 80s songs written especially for this film by Dean Pitchford and various collaborators. The guy is an excellent musician, sometimes brilliant. Low points are the Sammy Hagar tune and the Shalamar track, which are exactly average, but the CD reaches very high with "Somebody's Eyes" and "Holding Out for a Hero" (written with Jim Steinman). The rest are pretty good too. And the best part (or worst) is the full on 80s sound. Love it or hate it.
