I am not really familiar with Clint Mansell, but his Doom score is a very different one and matches the film quite well. A mixture of rock 'n roll, heavy metal guitars and drums and electronics are present throughout the entire score. The new age parts such as in the theme are cool. Speaking of the theme, it's a very fun theme. The bonus Nine Inch Nails song is at the end of the album and features some of Mansell's music playing. If you are offended by vulgar language I would skip the track, but hardcore fans of the group should dig it. To me, Mansell's Doom score is a surprise and I recommend it!
